Dan Luong

Vietnamese-Canadian pianist, Dan Luong, is known as an exciting performer and an accomplished educator. He performs with orchestras such as London Symphonia and Niagara Symphony, is a collaborative pianist at Western University, and is choir director at Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church. Dan is in demand as an adjudicator and teacher, maintaining a studio of 40 students in London, Ontario. He was a Gold Medal recipient for Elementary and Intermediate Piano Pedagogy from the Royal Conservatory of Music for the highest examination results.  Dan is a Western University graduate, having studied with Prof. John-Paul Bracey, Dr. Brett Kingsbury, Dr. John Hess, and Dr. Angela Park. He appeared as a soloist with Pazardzhik Symphony, London Community Orchestra, Western University Symphony, and the Cathedral Bluffs Symphony. Dan was a member of the Canadian National Youth Orchestra between 2020-2021. Most recently, he won second prize at the 2024 University of Florida International Piano Festival.
